Hey, first of all im really sorry youre going through this. Dragging yourself to work with a heavy heart every single day is exhausting, and being humiliated in front of other people is not ok. I know how that feels, and honestly this happens to alot of us, you are not alone in this. Thing is, a job isnt easy for anybody. We give our time and energy to the company and in return we get paid, and most of us cant just walk away whenever we want. Bills dont stop. And yeah, sometimes you get a manager who is just not a good person, it happens in lots of places. So my advice is simple. Dont quit in the heat of the moment. Check first if you have another option.

If you do, then sure, quit, you dont have to stay somewhere that is breaking you down. But if you dont have anything else yet, stay for now, and start looking quietly on the side. Update your CV, apply around, talk to people you know. Once you have something else in your hand, then you can leave with your head high and no stress. In the meantime, write down what happens (dates, what he said, who was there). If it gets worse, that helps if you ever go to HR. Also, here on VexoTalk there is a tool called “Should I Quit My Job?“, you can try it and it gives you some advice based on your situation. Its only advice tho, the final decision is always yours. Take care of yourself ok, you will get through this šŸ’›
